Deborah Laub

Deborah Laub is the President and co-owner of Carole Inc., a fashion accessory wholesaler and importer, based in Los Angeles, California. She has spent more than 40 years managing and growing her business, leading her innovative design team to create timely fashion jewelry and hair accessories for department stores and specialty stores.

She was one of the first importers to explore and import from countries like Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, India, and China some 35 years ago. Her relationships with these countries proved very valuable in creating unique and special merchandise for many private label nationwide programs. Many specialty stores depended on her company for extremely competitive styles to have an edge in the marketplace.

Deborah is also a philanthropist who has given her time and energy to many different charities. For the past 20 years she has been involved with and on the Foundation Board of The Venice Family Clinic. She has devoted much time and energy to women’s health causes such as Cedar Sinai’s Women’s Guild which raises awareness and money for different projects. She’s deeply involved with Jewish Big Brothers and Sisters, Women’s Jewish Federation, and National Women’s Breast Cancer.

When she is not working, she and her husband love to travel and explore new countries and cities. She serves on the Hillcrest Golf Auxiliary Committee and loves to play golf. Deborah loves art and has collected photographs and contemporary art for most of her adult life. She enjoys the outdoors and spends lots of times with friends and family.
