Heidi Ryan

An Illinois native born and raised in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, Heidi Ryan made her way to Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment in the Spring of 2016. She has a bachelor’s degree in History and a minor in Business from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana. After starting her professional career in a real estate law firm in Chicago, Heidi pursued her passion for Hollywood history and storytelling and worked as an Executive Assistant at MGM Television. Heidi then worked as a Business Affairs Coordinator at NBC Entertainment and Universal Television before being recruited by Netflix to join the Legal team for Kids & Family Content. 

Heidi has been at Netflix since 2018 and is now an Associate on the Animation Series Contract Management team. Her expertise includes working closely with the Netflix Legal team, communicating with various talent agencies and law firms, and providing the best experience for Netflix talent. She works with many cross-functional partners to create premier Animation Series content. While working full-time at Netflix, Heidi earned her master’s degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University. 

Heidi was introduced to Visionary Women in 2016 and appreciates being part of this community of capable and caring women. Heidi enjoys volunteer work, is an avid sports fan, and is dedicated to cultivating an inclusive environment for everyone.
