Mila Diez Barroso

17 yr old Mila Guadalupe Diez Barroso is a Mexican American Junior at Crossroads School. She is the founder and CEO of Milatido, an organization she started a year ago that focuses on finding points of connection between the Latinx community of all ages through art, conversation, and activism. Currently, she hosts events at the ICA LA situated at the heart of the art district in Los Angeles, where she has interned assisting the learning and engagement department. She aspires to continue her work in college, hopefully going on to study art activism, journalism, psychology, and philosophy. She is part of many youth boards and runs a couple of clubs at her school, all service and collective growth-oriented. She is passionate about people and believes that everything and everyone is an opportunity for learning.
