Serena Hakim Nazarian

Serena Hakim Nazarian is an attorney who was born and raised in Los Angeles. She attended Harvard Westlake School for middle and high school, and then pursued her bachelor’s degree in Media, Culture and Communications at New York University. After completing her undergraduate degree, she furthered her education at UCLA School of Law, where she was a Dean’s Academic Scholarship recipient. Serena also served as a Career Forum Co-Chair of the Journal of Law and Technology, a representative of the Jewish Law Students Association, and a member of the Law Women Student Group.

While in law school, Serena was a judicial extern to the Honorable Karen L. Stevenson, taught a legal course to students at a public charter school, and interned at the boutique entertainment firm Hansen Jacobson.

As a volunteer, Serena has helped provide legal aid to victims of domestic abuse and children in poverty at the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law, where she received a Certificate of Tribute.

Currently, Serena practices at Sheppard Mullin representing public and private companies in business and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures. As a former member of the Mammoth Mountain Ski Team, Serena enjoys skiing in her free time.
